Class Notes
In partnership with local high schools, the Albany Symphony has pioneered a new “Class Notes” program, designed to achieve the dual goals of encouraging arts education and raising ticket revenue for the Symphony.
The ASO sponsors special “Nights at the Symphony” for participating schools, to which students sell tickets at the discounted rate of $20 per ticket. Each school selects a student to be ticket coordinator for the program. $8 of each ticket are used to support the schools’ music programs.
The “Class Notes” program allows students to experience the offerings of our main classical series while at the same time encouraging students to become advocates of the arts. |
