The joyous celebration of community musical ensembles and professional musicians, now an annual Albany Symphony event, is sure to raise your spirits. This spectacular Christmas event features one of Albany Symphony’s favorite friends on the conductor’s podium, David Griggs–Janower. There will be many musical favorites, community talents, and a special visit by a well known couple from the North Pole. The show features: The Music Studio, Northeast Ballet Co, Capital District Youth Chorale, Campbell School of Irish Dance, Bethlehem Lutheran Church Bell Choir, and Community Christmas Choir. “The Magic of Christmas” is a wonderful way to kick off your 2007 holiday season. |

Beethoven: Back to the Future
Beethoven, the “Master Composer” gets
caught in a time warp and suddenly find his time machine has landed
in upstate New York, at the Palace Theatre — two hundred
years in the future! What is a composer to do? This blast
from the past concert includes the “World Premiere” of
his Ninth Symphony, with the audience in the role of
the special Symphony Chorus. Come prepared to sing your heart
