Join Music Director David Alan Miller and the musicians of the Albany Symphony as they delve into Sergei Rachmaninoff’s Symphonic Dances. The orchestra will also rehearse Duke Ellington’s Suite from The River and Joel Thompson’s To Awaken the Sleeper.
Come early to participate in a panel discussion investigating the significance of water in Black folklore, culture, and literature, facilitated by SUNY Professor El-Ra Radney.
