The Albany Symphony is proud to be a partner orchestra of the National Alliance for Audition Support (NAAS), an unprecedented national initiative to increase diversity in American orchestras. NAAS will do so by offering Black and Latinx musicians a customized combination of mentoring, audition preparation, financial support, and audition reviews.

Position to begin in 2026-2027 season.

2025-2026 concerts may be offered based on availability.

The Albany Symphony is a per service orchestra.

2025-2026 base scale rate of pay is $136.81/service.

Principal Pay +35%
