Russian romanticism meets Hindustani classical music in a program that pairs Rachmaninoff’s sweeping Symphony No. 1 with new works by Reena Esmail about sisterhood across cultures and a poet whose ideas were dangerously ahead of their time.

REENA ESMAIL: My Sister’s Voice (Meri Sakhi Ki Avaaz)
SERGEI RACHMANINOFF: Symphony No. 1
