November’s Crescendo Club Presents
At November's Crescendo Club, we'll witness a riveting presentation about the astronomical and astrological lore surrounding Holst's The Planets, presented by Kerry Lewis, astronomer from MiSci, and Mimí Folco, expert astrologist!
Mimí Folco is an astrologer, tarot reader, and creator of Harvey Mountain Alchemy, where intuition, symbolism, and craftsmanship come together. She offers evolutionary astrology and tarot readings that support personal growth, clarity, and healing out loud. Through her line of intentional candles made in repurposed vintage glassware, she blends sustainability with magic—creating pieces that nurture reflection and transformation. As cohost of The Stars Made Me Do It podcast, Mimí shares heart-centered insights that help others embrace their journey, imperfections and all.
Kerry Lewis is the manager of the Suits-Bueche planetarium and the lead Astronomy Educator at miSci - the Museum of Innovation and Science of Schenectady. She graduated from Union College with a B.S. in Physics and a passion for showing people the wonder that can be found in the world. An early interest in mythology inspired her show style, which incorporates a healthy amount of story and myth to cement the astronomy education in the visitors’ memories. Along with sharing the daily upcoming night sky with visitors, Kerry has created programs that utilize the planetarium to immerse visitors in stories of times past such as the building of the Erie Canal, and the working life and discoveries of William Herschel.
